How many people here have ever predicted a stock's downfall?
Tom, you have a lot of knowledge in this area. Do you have anything to add?

1. This is a very, very difficult problem.

2. We need a solution and we need it now.

3. We did think very carefully about this.

4. I'd like to emphasize the low performance of this particular month.

5. It does seem to be the best solution.

6. Peter, I know you have a lot of experience. Could you comment?

7. Is there anything we can do about this?

8. In my opinion, the only way forward is to cut back on staff.

9. I suggest that we reschedule phase four.

10. I propose that we consult our design team on this one.

1. We had an extremely good year. As you can see, the sales for this year are 10% higher than for the same period last year. Does anyone want to comment on this? Well, I'm sure you're all as excited as I am. My recommendation is that we try to improve on these figures and not just try and maintain these kinds of sales numbers.

2. This is a very, very important question. How can we attract new customers to our product? Tom, I know you have a lot of experience with this, could you comment? I feel we have to make subtle changes to the design that will attract newer customers but will not alienate our old ones. I suggest that we consult our design team on this one.
